Noel + Julie // The Springs Event Venue in Angleton, Texas // Magnolia Manor

The Springs Event Venue, Magnolia Manor, Houston Texas Wedding Photographer

I first met Julie when she came in to Green Brothers a coupe of years ago when she needed her ring repaired. She said she was new to town and we started talking. She said she was recently engaged and she just moved from Scottsdale, Arizona (Congratulations!!). We set a few missing stones in her ring and made it look brand new again! Fast forward to now, and I end up helping her again when she needs a watch battery. I tell her I know her from somewhere, she agrees, then when she tells me her name it all comes rushing back!! I love our small town!

Julie is now the Creative Director for the Bay City Magazine here in town, and when she told me what she was working on I offered to help her with planning, coordinating events and photo shoots, as well as taking photographs! I told her about this awesome styled shoot that I worked on in 2016. Since then we’ve worked on two awesome magazine projects together, and the third one is in the works. I love her vision and heart for entrepreneurs. I’m super excited to see this partnership/friendship grow!

Julie asked me to capture a few photographs from her and Noel’s wedding, and I’m so honored to be able share these with your today! They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The weather was absolutely fabulous, sunny and 80F. This was my first time shooting at The Springs Event Venue, but I wouldn’t be mad if every wedding I had in the future was out here. I’m all for shooting more weddings here. This place is stunning!!

Here are some of my favorite shots from Noel and Julie’s beautiful spring Texas wedding and their awesome cactus theme!!!
Stay tuned for that third project I mentioned earlier! ;)

How awesome that a chance encounter at the jewellery store led to this awesome friendship/business relationship. :) I absolutely love their desert details - that cake is so cool. Great captures!!
