Halle Kate // Downtown Senior Session at The Pearl Brewery San Antonio, Texas

This girl and her family have a special place in my heart! They are #goals!!

Jon and Tiff as they're known in our family, you can't say one name without the other, are mom and dad to three amazing daughters: Lauren, Halle and Olivia. Jon is my cousin, and growing up our great-grandmother always called him JonaSON with the emphasis on the son even though his birth name is Jonathan. Bless you, Mammaw.  So to honor our great-grandmother and give Jon a hard time, my brother, sister and I still call him the endearing JonaSON when we see him.

Two years ago about this time I was taking pictures of their oldest daughter, Lauren when she was a senior in high school, so I'm super lucky to be back here again taking pictures of Halle. And what's even sweeter is that Halle is off to join Lauren at Texas A&M in College Station! This makes my Aggie Alumni heart so proud!!

I love that Halle wanted an industrial look for her senior pictures. So I packed all my gear and met Halle and Tiffany in downtown San Antonio at the Historic Pearl Brewery. It's also a little nostalgic for me because my Pappaw actually sold Pearl beer. He was a salesman for Golden Beverage, a company in San Antonio, and drove his car all around town making those beer sales!

Since then the Pearl Brewery closed and San Antonio purchased it to develop a master plan to revitalize and preserve the historic features of it. If you're a closet history buff like me, you'll love this article about the Pearl Brewing Company. Every Saturday/Sunday they have a farmers market in their park plaza, and it's just a fun place to take your whole family for the mday to hang out, shop and eat!

But enough about history and what to do while you're in San Antonio (although I should probably start a series for that), let's get back to Halle! ;)

Gig 'em, Halle!!
